- The KT1200 is rated at 1,200 lbs with 12 cu ft of capacity.
- The KT1800 is rated at 2,000 lbs with 18 cu ft of capacity.
- The KT3300 is rated at 3,000 lbs with 33 cu ft of capacity.
- The KT1200 and KT3300 have fabricated parts and packaging/assembly done in Lancaster County.
- The current inventory of the KT1800 has the fabricated parts made in Mexico, and the packaging/assembly done in PA (some in Juniata and Lancaster County). Future runs of these may have the fabricated parts made locally.
- What materials are used to construct the Knockabout Trailer? What is the benefit of metal over plastic/poly?
- Plastic/poly can become brittle and crack.
- Steel can be repaired easier (welded to).
- Can the Knockabout Trailer be used with both ATVs and UTVs? What equipment do I need to pull a Knockabout (Again, you might want to split the answer by model.)
- The KT1200 is intended for use with a lawn tractor or ATV.
- The KT1800 is intended for use with an ATV or UTV.
- The KT3300 is intended for use with a UTV or compact tractor.
The intended use for all of the Knockabout trailers if off-road use only. These are not intended for on road use.
The finish is powder coating on top of steel components. As coating becomes worn or chipped over time, make sure to touch up affected areas with paint to prevent rust.
- The KT1800 has (3) accessory options: the bed cover, a fender mounted tool rack, and a fender mounted toolbox.
- The KT3300 has (2) optional accessories: a power unit to run the hydraulic dump (so that your tow vehicle doesn’t have to be equipped with hydraulic remotes), and a light kit.
Dirt, rocks, crushed stone, firewood, etc.
- The KT1200 is delivered in (2) boxes, and needs assembly.
- The KT1800 is delivered on a pallet and is partially assembled.
- The KT3300 is delivered on a pallet and is partially assembled.
There is a possibility that some dealers would assemble some units.
